The Phoenix Health Fund was established in 1953 for the employees of Stewarts & Lloyds. The fund has continued the relationship through Tubemakers, BHP and now OneSteel and associated Companies.

We are a registered, not-for-profit, Private Health Insurer with headquarters in Newcastle, covering all of Australia.

Our aim has always been to provide quality health cover at the lowest contribution rates possible. A comparison between our rates and services and those of other private health funds clearly shows in our endeavours to achieve this aim.
